Two Events, Three Panels: The Tezos Ecosystem at TOKEN2049 2026

News
October 5, 2026

From conversations on AI to a laid-back cat cafe co-working session — here’s the full lineup.

This year’s Tezos ecosystem lineup at TOKEN2049 circles a common thread: ownership.

TZ APAC is hosting an afternoon on how you can own the compute behind your AI instead of renting it from someone else, alongside a laid-back cat cafe co-working session where TOKEN2049 goers can take a self-care breather between sessions.

That same idea of ownership carries through to the panels, where Arthur Breitman, co-founder of Tezos, joins three conversations across the week on real-world asset tokenization compliance, whether quantum computing threatens crypto’s security assumptions, and what institutional-grade custody and liquidity actually require.

This year’s calendar includes:

Save the dates, RSVP early as event slos are limited and keep an eye on the TZ APAC X handle for updates throughout the week.

AI You Can Touch

AI You Can Touch

Step into AI You Can Touch: a day where AI moves from your screen into something tangible. The centrepiece is two interconnected DGX Sparks generously presented by Mauvis Ledford, founder of Sogni, ex-CTO of CoinMarketCap.Witness the hardware physically running an open multimodal model live, with the room invited to connect directly and try it themselves. Over these 4 hours, you’ll learn how to own and run your own AI locally instead of renting access to someone else’s, then settle in for a fireside chat on the rise of open source and local AI.

The afternoon runs across three sessions: a look at where OpenBuilder is heading, Mauvis Ledford (Founder of Sogni, ex-CTO of CoinMarketCap) on owning your own AI intelligence, and a fireside chat on the rise of open source and local AI with Mauvis, Lionel Sim (Founder of The AI Capitol and OpenBuilder), and Kitsune, (Product Engineer of TZ APAC).

Brought to you by TZ APAC, the leading Asia-based adoption entity furthering the Tezos ecosystem, alongside Sogni AI and OpenBuilder. Expect complimentary bites and drinks, and a room full of founders, investors, developers and AI enthusiasts figuring out what’s possible outside the centralized cloud.

Tezos Cat Lounge

Tezos Cat Lounge

Conference weeks are relentless, so this year TZ APAC is carving out a space to slow down for self-care. Tezos Cat Lounge is a conveniently located co-working spot where Web3 and AI builders can get real work done, catch up with the community, or simply decompress between sessions — all in the company of some very good feline friends.

Come say hi to the team, enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and snacks, and get a first look at Kampawng, the pet health and wellness app built by Keystone Lab, TZ APAC’s product innovation arm.

Registration windows run hourly from 2pm to 6pm, or register for all 4 to stay for the whole session! Casual, friendly and a genuinely nice place to take a breather before hopping back into the TOKEN2049 grind.
